FAQ

Questions we are asked

How long does setup take?

Setup is managed by us. We confirm your organisation and users, agree the service line and geography, review the legal names, subsidiaries and trading names that count as you, set up your categories and competitor watchlist, check your first snapshot with you, then invite your team and walk through the evidence and its limits. The lead time depends on how many entities we review and how quickly your team can check them. We give you the lead time in writing before you commit, and we name any step that waits on you.

Where does the data come from?

From records that public bodies publish: council spending files over £500, notices on Contracts Finder and Find a Tender, and the Companies House register. Most are under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Where a council applies a different licence, we record it for that source. Our Data sources page lists every source, what we take and what we leave out.

Which councils do you cover, and is the data complete?

Spend and share of wallet figures cover England, where the Local Government Transparency Code asks councils to publish payments over £500. Notices, contract registers and recompete windows cover the whole UK. We cannot promise that every council publishes complete or timely data. Each council shows its coverage state and a "data current to" date, and a missing value is shown as missing, never as zero. We confirm which service lenses are available when we speak.

How often is the data refreshed?

Supplier refreshes quarterly. Supplier Pro refreshes monthly where the sources allow. Councils publish on their own schedule and often late, so every screen and export carries a "data current to" date. A new snapshot appears in your workspace only after we have reviewed and accepted it.

What support do I get?

Axxo Intel is a managed service, not a self-serve tool. We run your onboarding, record your support contacts at activation, and handle changes to your supplier group, service scope or scoring as managed requests that we review before a new snapshot is published. Enterprise includes an enhanced service level. Support hours and response times are set out in your agreement.

Can I export data or connect to our CRM?

Supplier includes standard reports. Supplier Pro adds scheduled reports, CSV export of every table and full transaction export, with any row cap shown before the export runs, and one-way push of saved accounts and recompete items to HubSpot and Salesforce. Enterprise adds API and BI access. Every export carries the snapshot, the observation window and the "data current to" date. Two-way CRM sync is not offered at this stage.

How do you protect data?

Your workspace is private to your organisation. We hold no contact details for council staff. Payees that are individuals rather than registered companies are suppressed or pseudonymised before anything reaches you. We run no advertising network and no third-party analytics in the product, and we do not use your workspace activity to train an AI model. Our privacy notice and sub-processor list give the detail.

Who is Axxo Intel for?

Suppliers that sell repeatable services to UK councils and plan their accounts: commercial and public-sector directors, heads of bids and business development, and the account managers who work named councils. It is a poor fit if you only need tender alerts, sell once to a single authority, or need guaranteed coverage of every council. It is an account plan, not an opportunity feed.
